ARRVLS is a non-narrated audio documentary program and live event series that focuses on moments of transformative change in our lives. The program features cinematic and sound-rich narratives from a broad range of human experience: from an investment banker turned tango dancer in Manhattan to a drag queen in El Paso, Texas. ARRVLS has received critical acclaim from The Guardian, The Atlantic, Wired, AV Club, and many others.
As an intern with the program you'll have an opportunity to learn the nuts and bolts of show production: from how we build out our editorial calendar to how we publish and promote our show. We'll provide you with tools to edit, sound design, produce, and promote original documentary works. As an intern, you'll be working directly with episodes in production, helping build the sound and shape of the story.
Send us a brief description of your interests in audio and experience level. Take a listen to some of our episodes. With your email, send us a nut graf of an ARRVLS story; it can be personal or something you've researched. Tell us why and how your story fits into the themes of the show. Send your emails with the title "Internship" to firstname.lastname@example.org
